students worked on a selection of excerpts of anonymized film scripts to put them into space through models. in small groups , the students were led to analyze and break down the texts provided to them. initially, they questioned the excerpts’ actions and the themes they evoke. following this, using their architectural culture and tools specific to the discipline, they proposed one or more spaces that they deem suitable for the action taking place in their respective excerpts.
subsequently, this staging was materialized through the creation of a model and the production of a scene. artist siebert mispelon presented his work and references to help open up spatial possibilities
the groups, with the help of theo de meyer, then composed the exhibition setup for the final production. this phase familiarized students with scenography concepts of scenography.
all spaces were then surveyed for the exhibition.
